THE NAMES PLEASE: GOP SEN. PETE DOMENICI AND GOP REP. HEATHER WILSON (GOP) PUSHED US ATTNY. IGLESIAS TO SPEED-UP INVESTIGATION OF DEM REP.

WASHINGTON D.C.--"Sen. Pete Domenici and Rep. Heather Wilson of New Mexico pressured the U.S. attorney in their state to speed up indictments in a federal corruption investigation that involved at least one former Democratic state senator, according to two people familiar with the contacts," reported McClatchy newspapers' Washington bureau today. Elsewhere--there is almost no "elsewhere, most of the media isn't covering this, and if they are, it's page-nine and the margins. Fancy that.

Wow. With Iraq and Afghanistan disintegrating, the Libby verdict coming-soon, 29% of the public approving of the Bush administration's conduct--this all looks like Nixon time to me. More former US Attorneys are coming-forward about this. It's going to hound this administration until the bitter-end. At least they have the mainstream media to thank for burying the story, and focusing on a dead junkie-bimbo being buried in the Bahamas.

Funny how all of this emanates like a noxious-gas from Texas. Perhaps we should let them secede, finally. A law banning anyone from Texas to hold-office in Congress and the Executive branch might be in-order, though I would extend it to anyone with a personal-wealth of over $100,000 to-boot. A law banning any lobbying by corporations--foreign and domestic--is also in-order.

It's Weimar time. The GOP: America's Bolsheviks, our dangerous, lawless revolutionary party. It's time to smash them with the courts and the public-will. After three botched-attempts at undermining the Constitution (Watergate, Iran-Contra, and an avalance of corruption from Bush and co.), there is nothing-wrong with banning them, and splintering them into several parties. Three strikes and you're out.

The time has come to end this absurd excuse for a political party. With the coming collapse of our occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan, they seem to be doing all the work for us--the right-wing of the Democratic party too. The political landscape is going to look completely-different in ten-years, and we will be able thank the blind-corruption of these fools for it (and luck). Since the end of the Civil War, the GOP have been the real fifth-columnists, our genuine communist front.
