JOE DONNELLY: GRILLING FED CHAIR BERNANKE TODAY ON THE HILL

WASHINGTON D.C.--He was on CNBC today, and he was giving Ben Bernanke some good old-fashioned brow-beating...over China's most favored trading-status (enacted with vigorous-support by the Clinton administration) and its impact on American jobs. As a small-business owner, this is probably close to his heart, and I applaud him. He's sure getting a lot of coverage for a freshman representative. Perhaps he's being groomed for something? It's time to end the one-sided trading with China. I don't care how it affects corporations who have cut tens-of-thousands of our jobs. A hit to them isn't going to cost us much, since trickle-down economics is now on the shelf alongside Santa and the Easter Bunny (next-to the flat earth folks).

  2. Please do! He's being a little wishy-washy, and I suspect he still supports the overarching war-aims. It just work, but he's new to Congress anyway. Freshman congressmen have a tendency to be overcautious, which is ironic considering the future belongs to those who aren't overcautious. The moment is ripe with opportunities to change things for the better, we'll see. Yeah, please forward that.
