Songs from the Site Meter: Saving Animals and Fighting Terrorism With Tasty Toppings?

Max Ren: 'Death to Videodrome! Long live the new flesh!'

SITE METER
--This one's interesting. Several listings of domain/ISPs, and one is a food company in Fullerton, California (they make toppings!), while the other is WARL.org (animal shelter). Not that I have proof, but it's well-known that the CIA runs dummy corporations (like SAIC). Just a thought, but note that they pored over the site for information written on Deborah Jeane Palfrey, the so-called 'DC Madam.'

Look at how confused the information on this site hit is. One would think they're trying to cover their tracks. Think about it: why would someone warl.org/Van Law Food go through over a dozen pages specifically about Ronald Roughead, an individual found in the phone records of Pamela Martin & Associates? Because they know him, or know of him. Curious, that.

Hey Sailor: Navy Returns Again to J-7, Waiting for the Next Shoe to Drop

SITE METER--I'm not tellings when, but they are coming, and it won't be pretty. Is CNO Gary Roughead abusing his post to protect his brother Ronald Roughead (found in the phone records of the so-called 'DC Madam')? There's a law against that right? Ahh, never mind those pesky laws, it's the Bush II era, after all. We might be finding-out in February, maybe March or April whether brother Ronnie is a...you know. Hmmm, there's going to be lots of fireworks around that time. Iraq and Afghanistan will be in a state of further disintegration. Turkey will likely be occupying Northern Iraq, and the public won't have a war with Iran either. Well, neither will the laws of physics, since there aren't enough troops, equipment, ammunition--you-name-it, but at least Congress will keep pumping our future into it with funding. That's gambling for you: sometimes you lose-lose-lose-lose-lose-lose-lose-lose (and lose). The 2008 elections are going to something alright...something to ignore. Time to vote the incumbents out, and time to put some vets (not conservative ones) in office. Expect subpoenas. Agents of control: FUCK YOU.

Ed Gein (2000) review

Modern American horror began on November 16th, 1957 in a little farming community named Plainfield, Wisconsin: This movie gets a lot more criticism than it generally deserves. Indeed, it is extremely low-budget, but it basically nails the whole point of Ed Gein better than anyone ever has, or possibly ever will. What seems to disappoint most people is the fact that the film sticks so closely to the story of what actually happened, rather than the speculations and additions. Not that Eddie didn't kill anyone, mind you...

The reality is, Ed Gein was not a serial killer in any respect, and murdered only two women whom he may have felt resembled his dead mother. It's unknown factually beyond that, though he might have killed his brother in an argument when both men were hunting. The photograph to the right is of the body of his second victim, Bernice Worden. What he is most remembered for, in reality, are the ghoulish excavations he committed, and his "articulations" of dead bodies.

It's very difficult for us to imagine in our current era how much of a bombshell Ed Gein was in late-1950s America. People didn't talk about mental illness or domestic abuse in those days. In fact, it's my own humble opinion that we still haven't entirely coped with the knowledge of such aberrant-behavior.

Why do people do such things? There really are no answers here, which can a very disturbing reality in a modern world that appears to have explanations for nearly everything. But sometimes, there are no clear answers. The makers of "Ed Gein" have shed some much-needed light on what is really known about Gein's metamorphosis into a full-blown ghoul. Surprisingly, a great deal of the psychological subtext of his life has leaked-into films "based" on his "true story."

Most successful of all--naturally--is Hitchcock's "Psycho," but Steve Railsback and Chuck Parello have shown us a very clear scenario into why Ed Gein became the man we know-of today. Gein was basically bisexual and had a strong desire to BE a woman, like his domineering mother. Gein's real problem was being schizophrenic, however. The addition of the strident religious fanaticism of his mother probably didn't help, as many sufferers hold a fascination with the cosmological.

As stated in "Psycho" so well, he wanted to "...become his mother," in a sad-attempt to "bring her back to life." His father was a pathetic drunk, and as is well-known, his mother had a god-like dominance (coupled with religious-fanaticism and sociopathological attitudes) over the young boy. Ed was also deeply traumatized by an incident on the family farm where he saw his parents slaughtering a pig--Ed was unable to assist them, and was often called a "panty-waist" by his mother.

The incident, and a few others, are reenacted convincingly by Parello and company, and much of the film takes-place in Gein's head (where it belongs). Feeding his insanity with detective pulp-magazines, published accounts of cannibalism and head-hunting in the South seas, and a deep fascination with the Holocaust and war crimes committed under the Third Reich, it was clear that Ed Gein was obsessed with death. In time, he would attempt to embrace and control it, wearing the tanned-skins of cadavers that he had stolen from a nearby cemetery. Ed Gein was a ghoul, not a serial killer, and he sometimes wore the skins taken from these bodies so he could be a woman. Insofar as anyone can tell, all the "parts" came from deceased women.

Also interesting is the story behind Gein's brother Henry and his mysterious death. While it could be viewed as speculative, it's known that Henry was found dead (allegedly of a heart attack while hunting) with bruises to the back of his head. A fire had been started around his body, pointing-to Gein again, as he must have panicked after murdering his brother and either tried to dispose of the corpse or create a scenario that would explain-away his involvement.

The film also speculates on whether Gein fed human flesh to people he knew--this is unknown, but some of the stories around Plainfield attest that he did, and that hunting deer was repugnant to him. The detail is pretty amazing, with some incredible asides by Railsback that add to our understanding of Ed Gein. One scene has Gein at the local watering-hole mentioning how he'd like to have a sex-change, which was explosive news at that time, from Sweden.

This event --like nearly all others in the film--really happened, and Gein's comments were taken as they often were: a joke, that he was pulling everyone's leg. That's how Ed Gein was viewed--a leg-puller, an oddball flake and a shitter. He wasn't taken seriously, which is why it was so hard for people in Plainfield to comprehend what he was up to out at the farm.

There are a few continuity errors: the headlights of a car are clearly from the 1990s in one insert-shot, and there are a few moments where the production design could have been closer to what 1950s America looked like. But, all-in-all, what you have here is the definitive film on Ed Gein. It's all here, in all its pathetic glory. This is what happens when someone is neglected by family and society, both spiritually and medically; this was simply a sick man who needed help. Nobody did so until it was too late, leaving just another example of how we are not a very proactive culture.

It's telling that Augusta never had her son taken to get help, and one has to assume she was also deranged in a way that found expression in the sickest, darkest pages of the Bible--especially her fixation on the Book of Revelations, a tome that should be read as metaphor only. None of this is sexy and exciting to gorehounds and thrill-seekers who come to a film like this, not to learn something, but merely to stimulate their hunger for viscera. Grow-up.

An excellent film! How can you lose with ole' Steve Railsback, anyway? He bankrolled this one, and it was a wise move, they got a lot of bang for their buck. If the movie says anything, it's how insensitive we were as a culture at that time. Hardly anyone thought it that strange that Ed Gein had shrunken-heads hanging from his bedroom walls. His excuse was taken at-face-vaule: he'd gotten them from a relative who had fought in the Pacific during WWII.

Trophies of this sort were common, but should have been taken as a good example of the sickness and psychopathology of their owners. During the late-1950s, people might have thought it odd, but rarely would have blinked over it. That's how sick a culture we were at that time, and we aren't out of the woods surrounding Plainfield yet. We haven't coped entirely with Ed Gein as a culture yet, let alone Jeffrey Dahmer. Pity poor Ed, he's earned it.

Postscript: It seems possible Mr. Railsback was a target-for-death of Robert Blake at one time!

The Forgotten Genocide: Stalin's Purges

Russia/Central Asia--Why don't we hear about this more often? Why are we constantly inundated about the Shoah/Holocaust, but not the liquidation of tens-of-millions of ethnic and dissident groups and individuals under Stalinism?

The answer should be pretty obvious, and saddening: they don't have advocacy groups with the resources, they are history's losers without any voice because they were powerless then and are today.

In this world, the weak are to be scorned, if remembered at all. During the Cold War, our government used these victims of Stalin as propaganda, a secondary abuse and exploitation of their lives (and deaths). Did we ever care? Of course not, the State Department of the United States of America didn't care at all, and welcomed the rise of a 'strong man' in Russia just as they did in Germany around the very same time.

Historians estimate--though we will never truly know--that somewhere around 20 million human beings were murdered under Stalin's orders by the NKVD/KGB. Today, we're hearing that it was all about "ideology," which is partly true, but what it was really just a human disaster. The West not only didn't care, but was responsible for some of the depredations and couldn't be bothered to intervene (there are no humanitarian invasions), let alone to stop the slaughter indirectly.

Yes, today, we're being told it all began in 1937, but it's not true. The slaughter's beginnings were significantly earlier if one considers Lenin's and Trotsky's use of 'the terror' against all enemies of Bolshevism--even the Soviet councils in the cities, as they were the first to be targeted by Lenin and his gangsters. The terror began during the Russian Civil War in which millions died, and even more would perish during the collectivization programs in the Ukraine during 1932-1933.

Grain was taken from the peasants and sold on the international market to pay for a disastrous process of rapid industrialization. Western nations had no problem accepting the transactions of grain for equipment and other resources. Estimates for this particular period are six-to-seven million dead alone, and it was most certainly "systematic."

The murdering would continue, with entire villages disappearing into the night until the invasion June 1941 by Nazi Germany. Some of these victims are finally being discovered, sometimes in mass graves in public parks, with the numbers in the tens-of-thousands at just one location. By now, any fool should know that this happened, but few care or want to learn from it. FDR's attitude towards the Soviet Union merely echoed that of the rest of political and economic class he was a part of. Rhetoric is meant to be deceiving.

Even after 1933 (the year of Soviet Russia's recognition by the US State Department) there would be a continuation of mass murder during the years of Stalin's reign of terror. Was it all on Stalin and his accomplices? Yes and no. WWI devastated the Russian Empire, and Tsar Nicholas II's decision to command the army during the war--and subsequently losing it--left a power vacuum in the region. The legitimacy of the Tsar was forever tarnished, and what infrastructure there had been in Russia was destroyed and social networks were fragmented. Chaos ruled. This created a very fertile soil indeed for anyone who claimed to have answers and who showed sureness, decisiveness, and who offered order and certainty.

But once you make extreme violence part of your approach, it's almost impossible to end it, it continues-on and spreads like a plague. Weep for the dead, they were like us.

Because of the ubiquitous uncertainty gripping Russia, and the divisiveness of the Civil War, few people trusted each other. A culture of informing on one another began to catch like a wildfire, and one's loyalty to the State under the control of the Bolsheviks became the central contention: did you support order or not? A chain reaction took-hold. History isn't simply about "bad guys" and "good guys," and people do terrible things when they're desperate. If you want a good analogy, imagine a society eating itself from the inside out, just as Germany was also doing at the same time. Both nations were socially and economically devastated thanks to WWI, the war that ruined the 20th century. Our options become radically limited once we have unleashed extreme violence on others. Consider this when reflecting on our current occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan.

'The Great Purge' of 1937-38 (with the subsequent "show trials") was a purging of the Communist Party's inner circles. Stalin was finishing the job of his consolidation of power, and like Hitler, he enjoyed pitting others against each other. What's unfortunate is that this purge is probably going to be confused as being the overall purge that continued unabated from Lenin and Trotsky, into Stalin's bloody-hands. Stalin was just following in their footsteps, and it's not hard to fathom that many of the millions-of-deaths also occurred simply because he was incompetent and had no idea how to rule a nation at all.

Lenin surely didn't know how to rule either, and as crazy as it sounds, he probably died of stroke brought-on by too much paperwork. We focus too much on these acts of destruction as being a sign of "power," when more often they're a sign that a Stalin's or a Hitler's reign are really bumbling tragedies of those clearly unfit to rule. Strong leaders avoid such calamities, and understand the art of compromise, the give-and-take. Destruction doesn't always mean power, but it can mean the avoidable deaths of millions. At least Franklin Delano Roosevelt understood this.

Indiana-based Narcoterrorists Eli Lilly Return to J-7

Indianapolis, Indiana--Ahem. Must be those phone records of Deborah Jeane Palfrey again, waiting for the next shoe to drop. Bank on this: they're coming, and soon. Hope your name isn't in them, as well as all the rest that Ms. Palfrey has (wisely) kept close to the vest. Your time is coming. And I thought Sunday was supposed to be the day of rest. Shame on your black heart Mr. Tobias.

UK'S DAILY MAIL: 'ALEXANDER LITVINENKO WAS MI6'

“Litvinenko became an agent who left the control of (British) special services and was killed. ...If not by the (British) intelligence services themselves, then under their control or with their connivance."
--Former FSB operative Andrei Lugovoy, accused of poisoning former FSB-operative Alexander Litvinenko in November of 2006.

London,The United Kingdom--Even casual observers of this whole international incident have had ample reason to suspect that Alexander Litvinenko was working for British Intelligence, but the UK's Daily Mail has come forward with this possibility now as being a solid assertion.

It's hardly a stretch: in 2000, Litvinenko and his family were rapidly given political asylum after fleeing Vladimir Putin's government and a number of charges relating to what could best be described as treason against Russia. Were his FSB handlers suspicious or aware that he might have switched sides?
By all appearances, this seems likely. Did he ever really defect? His UK recruiter? It could have been the man in the photo above, Sir John Scarlett who now heads MI6.

Reports today suggest he was recruited to the Secret Intelligence Service. Lugovoy reportedly claims that Mr Litvinenko tried to recruit him to supply information to MI6. The apparent revelation could provide the key to the 43-year-old's killing. Lugovoy claims Britain’s MI6 was behind the killing. (The Sun, 10.27.2007,http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article397108.ece)
Lugovoy (a millionaire owner of a private security firm, soon expected to run for a seat in the Russian Parliament which will grant him immunity from extradition) has made this assertion almost from the start of this affair, beginning with the charges made against him by Scotland Yard, and underscoring the fact that this has always been a political case.

It seems that SIS/MI6 have been very busy these last-few-years. Just ask Paul Wolfowitz and Shaha Ali Riza, the former World Bank President's lover. Why would an unknown British subject like Ali Riza have a Pentagon security clearance? While it's uncertain whether Ali Riza is an operative for a Middle Eastern entity (or entities), it's even money that she's MI6. The issue of citizenship is often the most telling sign.

In the case of Litvinenko, he was granted his UK citizenship status just a few weeks before his assassination by elements still essentially unknown. This doesn't make the Home or Foreign Offices look very good. In both the case of Ali Riza and Litvinenko, British citizenship was granted, but what the State got in return is a mystery. A Sun story appears to be heading towards what that was exactly. Surely, we know some of this meant spying for MI6, providing information that only these particular individuals had access to.

Lugovoy's assertions of a set-up are now apparently being fleshed-out, and now being 'corroborated' by the recent story in The Daily Mail and The Sun:
It is understood that Sir John Scarlett, now the head of MI6 and once based in Moscow, was involved in recruiting him to the Secret Intelligence Service. The fact that the 43-year-old ex-Russian spy was actually working for Britain when he died could provide the key to his extraordinary killing. (thisislondon.co.uk, 10.27.2007)
We know Litvinenko's story has an air of desperation to it, but what of Ali Riza? A number players within the world's intelligence community would certainly like to know--if they don't already. Remember that most operatives work more than one side, almost as a rule.

Their handlers generally assume this, so what you have is an ocean of double and triple agents running-amok throughout the globe, a criminal class in the service of the State. This is very much like a picture of intelligence between Russia and Britain exactly a century ago.

All this aside, Lugovoy is still claiming that Litvinenko attempted to recruit him into supplying MI6 with information, probably against Putin's FSB, as well as other remaining Russian energy 'oligarchs' (the poisoned 'ex-spy' was working for exiled energy oligarch, Boris Berezovsky) still residing in the country.

Oddly, all of this appears to be headed towards oil interests in the Caucasus region, and who controls the flow and ownership. Litvinenko appears to have been paid reasonably well for his ongoing activities, according to The Daily Mail, and one could imagine there were bonuses for specific-jobs being expedited:

The Daily Mail published an article Saturday saying Litvinenko who died in London in November 2006 "was receiving a retainer of around ? 2,000 [$4,000] a month from the British security services at the time he was murdered." ..."British secret services know the names of those who ordered and committed this crime," he said, adding that Litvinenko had repeatedly told him about his patrons in British secret services.

(RIA Novosti, 10.28.2007,
http://en.rian.ru/world/20071027/85680757.html)
$4,000 USD doesn't sound like much, until one looks at their own paycheck. Alexander was paid a very good stipend, so he must have been a useful asset. What he may not have known was that that meant being poisoned with polonium-210 just weeks after being granted British citizenship to create an international event meant to weaken Russia's standing in the world community for purposes of obtaining control of the oil fields of Baku, and pipeline-routes throughout the region by British oil interests.

Was Litvinenko a double-agent, still really serving FSB or other multifarious interests? It's even money, and in various currencies and denominations. His widow's comments should be met with suspicion.

The New Devil's Dictionary: Administration

Administration, n.-
What politicians and government studiously circumvent expediting: namely, the superhuman avoidance of meeting the needs of the rest of humanity at all-costs. The maldistribution of necessities to the needy. A self-perpetuating form of dominance over resources and people, which sometimes includes throwing-bones to the victims as a symbolic gesture.

A good idea, often obstructed and thwarted by extremists calling themselves conservatives, and frequently, liberalists, and even 'Socialists.' The extraction of all wealth from the planet for some unforeseen goal, though often the short-term rewards of power. A thing to be shored-up, expanded, and also hated, being a Shibboleth that rarely delivers, yet nonetheless crucial to the survival of the species. A carrot and a stick.

Both the end of human dreams and aspirations, pointing-the-way to personal revolution (terminal terrorism and individual rebellion), and the human realization that mankind is mankind's only real remaining impediment to sustainability and peace. The institutionalization of a particular generation's--and administering bureaucrats'--neurosis to be inflicted upon succeeding generations. Modern society is impossible without it, doomed if it continues in its present form, and yet there is no looking back, a lesson of the 20th century.

The Crux of the Impending WGA (Writer's Guild of America) Strike in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA--My brother works in advertising. He creates commercials for shit-heads (businessmen). He produces, writes, does the 'cinematography,' directs, and even edits them. We had a conversation recently where he really nailed it: "Producers are like any employer--they think you have to do physical work to be paid. They don't want to pay for ideas, they don't see that as 'work.' " Indeed, Hollywood producers are like all other asshole employers, meaning that they're vulgar, greedy scumbags, just as most American businessmen are. Why pay for new material? Why indeed when one knows everything? Never mind those silly artists and writers--what do they know about creating? Well, everything producers don't, which is why the bastards hate creative people. They can't fly as artists can (no imagination), so out of jealousy, they clip their wings.

If you wonder why there have been so few new ideas in Hollywood in the last 10+ years, wonder no more. The suits won, the artists lost, and now we see the results of what it looks and sounds like: boorish shit. Many of these Executive Producers (usually just another term for the backers of a film) own previously made "properties" anyway, so why pay a writer to do something that's new? This is a big reason for all of these stupid remakes (I exclude Rob Zombie's reimagining of 'Halloween' since he was paid to rewrite it). Why even hire a real writer? Just get some yes man hack-writer to doctor the property a bit, and...there is no "and," audiences hate the movies overall. This is not rocket science if you aren't a coke-sniffing Hollywood producer. You know, the rest of the entire human race, the audience, the people who have stopped coming to the theaters.

Michael Mukasey - Will You Help Me?, by Deborah Jeane Palfrey

Michael Mukasey – will you help me?

The dubbed D.C. Madam Deborah J. Palfrey seeks fairness in a sea of injustice.

55 years imprisonment and my entire life’s savings – this is what they want to take from me, in my real life ‘David and Goliath’ struggle with the United States Department of Justice.

For the past year, I have discovered myself immersed in the world of the Justice Department; a world, replete with on-the-record faulty memories, omissions of fact and out-and-out lies; one where political motive and groupthink usurp integrity and the rule of law and where as hard as one might try, justice is nowhere to be found. This is the setting I have been placed in to do battle with a bureaucratic behemoth.

As I fight for my very life ostensibly on a daily basis, I have experienced a legal and financial pounding– a premeditative orchestration created to best the most resolute among us, by the Department of Justice or the Department of Injustice, as it more widely regarded these days.

On October 4th of last year, a dozen plus federal agents descended upon my sedate, restored Victorian home in Northern California armed with a search warrant and arrested - of all things - my property (my turn came later in March). The process known as civil asset forfeiture allows the government to seize a person’s property and assets, without due process often leaving them destitute, when there is suspicion – not actual proof, but merely a suggestion of wrong doing.

In my case, the Federales claimed I had proffered the unthinkable – pleasures of the flesh - for financial gain, to the male denizens and visitors in our nation’s capitol. Accordingly, I found myself – besides instantaneously broke - charged with over-the-top and obscene federal crimes. My job description was elevated exponentially from retired escort service operator to the powerful, to money launderer and conspirator over night and later to racketeer.

What particularly made and continues to make my case so unusual, actually bizarre is no one ever has been charged similarly to me, in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. Over time, I have come to understand my case is truly one of a kind. Considering there are more adult service businesses than McDonald’s restaurants in operation in the overall vicinity, a virtual array of rich targets for the Feds to pursue – I and I alone appear to be the only subject of their interest. Furthermore, none of the estimated 10,000 or so clients, who patronized my agency or the almost 150 subcontracted women, who worked for me over the years have been charged.

The question begs. Why me and why only me? In part, the answer may lie in the fact I operated a high-end, erotic outcall service continuously (a bit of an anomaly) for a thirteen year period, from 1993 through 2006, in a part of the world laden with politically influential men; many with high level security clearances. Although, my firm routinely was patronized by the typical, garden-variety doctor, lawyer and perchance even, Indian chief; it nonetheless saw more than its share of the high and the mighty.

As flattering as it might be – albeit in a rather perverse way – for me to think I was ever the real object of the DOJ’s attention, it would be sheer folly to believe such. The clientele base, specifically the more notable customers were the true persons of interest and the reason I believe I was surveilled personally and professionally, for at least a five year period, before I decided to close shop and retire to Europe, in August of 2006. Ironically, it was this very decision to shut down the business and disrupt the status quo, in conjunction with my desire to move out of the country, which I feel ignited the raid on my home, in early October.

The combination of selective prosecution, a politically sensitive clientele and an extended surveillance period points to a matter, which has less to do with the goings-on of an alleged prostitution ring than it does with spying activities involving a constitutionally protected, American citizen. As I often have stated, my case has something to do with something, but it sure as heck has very little, if anything to do with a small-time escort business. My case - had it been more customary in nature - would have been under the sole purview of the state courts and never entered the federal realm.

But then the culture at the Justice Department, under former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has been revealed – particularly of late with the suspect attorney firings - as one more concerned with the inclinations of the White House, i.e. the GOP than with those of truthfulness and fair dealing toward a society at large; a society, which most assuredly includes me and my idiosyncratic case. The founding fathers desire for a wide divide to exist between the Executive Branch of government and the Judiciary appears to have been profanely abused by former AG Gonzales and his cohorts outside Justice.

I rather suspect that as time marches on, with it will come a multitude of eye-opening disclosures, which will call into question further the practices of the DOJ, the past several years. I believe my case is part and parcel of any such coming revelations. That is of course, if the newly appointed Attorney General – be it Bush nominee, Judge Michael Mukasey or another – chooses to do right by us, the American people; to ally with us and not the current administration. For me in my politically charged case, such a decision by the future Attorney General holds particular weight; quite possibly, whether or not I will spend the remainder of my natural life behind bars or as a free person.

Nonetheless as I begin my second year combating the beast, I do so with significant hope. After a full twelve months of being stonewalled at every twist and turn along the way, including access to discovery materials, by the assigned Assistant U.S. Attorneys - my counsel, Mr. Montgomery B. Sibley, a small band of interested third parties and I have pieced together sufficient reason to believe my case - simply put - is rotten to the core. Since the Government for all intents and purposes has run out of tactical maneuvers to prohibit me from uncovering the truth any longer, I anticipate exposure of considerable wrongdoing by the DOJ, in short order. Additionally, the fact Alberto Gonzales, perhaps one of the most dishonest and politically aligned attorney generals in U.S. history, the very one who has reigned over my specific case this last year has resigned – leaves open the hope that his predecessor may correct the direction of a wayward and seemingly corrupt Justice Department and in its wake my increasingly frightening tale of woe.

However, time will tell. In the interim, I only can remain determined and trust in the final analysis, I indeed will find justice in this dark and terrifying sea of injustice I have been thrust.

[Ed., 08.28.2008--Why she felt a shill and an apparatchiki like Mukasey would help her is beyond my ken.]

30% of All Americans Believe in Ghosts

The Extremely Flawed Polls (Not Poles)--Right, and more people than that believed there were WMDs in Iraq. Have we found evidence of either yet? Prove it. No? Then shut-up, we don't care. Sex and the City was also popular with millions of moral imbeciles in these here United States, yet clearly sucked as an excuse for a hockey-puck. Sarah Jessica Parker has a horse-face. Life is simple, and the Emperor wears no clothes. Many of you actually still believe in the Virgin birth, even though several religions and sects in the Middle East had the same contention in their sacred stories centuries earlier. Others still cling like dingle-berries to the notion that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are real.

Then there are those who believe that American-style capitalism has always worked well, and will persist into-perpetuity (because it works for those who hold this belief). All of these contentions require a suspension of the inviolable laws of physics and a nose-dive into the abyss of destructive irrationality. Do you really think that that's the worst of it? Really? I'm not the Dalai Lama, but I hear tell that there's worse. Here's the worst for this peculiar historical moment: there are those of you who still believe the BIG DOOSIE: that the president and GOP incumbents in Congress can win the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and that the 'war on terrorism' is actually real. But then, the same folks believe that their spouse, children, and their entire community doesn't hate them for being reactionary assholes. I'm mean, I know (Viva la Muerte.).

Another Message to Turkey

WWW--C'mon, quit playing with yourselves and really invade Iraq. Everbody's doing it, it's the hip thing to do these days. Besides, it's keeping the Bush administration tied-down in Iraq with virtually no chance whatsoever for attacking Iran and destabilizing the region in a way you (and sane people) don't want. Granted, I'm against you on the issue of the Kurds, but they know how to take care of themselves, especially the Socialist PKK whom I admire. They allow women to participate in decision-making, a rarity in this world.

Just go in, occupy the Northern part of Iraq, and defend yourselves if those Yankees start firing on you, though I doubt most dog-faces are going to. Most of them are out doing "search and hide" missions, trying to just stay alive while the officers do most of the dirty work committing war crimes and obeying patently illegal orders. Admit it: you've always wanted to fire on American troops, but you know you won't even have to. We're on-the-ropes in Iraq and Afghanistan, it's ending, however slowly. Congress: pass that legislation recognizing the Armenian Genocide.

USAHHHHHHH, Fuck It...--Say what you will, but for a developed nation, we're the red-headed stepchild of the Western world. We've always been a dowdy, poorly-dressed lot of malcontents, but it's getting embarrassing. Compared to the average slob in most other 'modern' nations, we're incredibly fucking stupid and boorish.

Thanks to our lousy miseducational system and corporate owned mainstream media, many Americans have an pathetically low vocabulary and are not very well-spoken. Nonetheless, it's the fault of the individual, and it takes two to tango.

You have to have someone willing to be a poverty beforehand. But just look at interviews with average individuals in the U.K.--the differences are stunning, we sound like the cavemen that many around the world (rightly) think we are. Ignorance is hip, sounding 'smart' is out, and it's well known we're a decidedly anti-intellectual anti-culture.
Enter the usage of voice-talent from the U.K. .

If you even watch television casually in the United States, it's inescapable that you'll see and/or hear an actor or actress from Great Britain doing the voice-over for any number of ads. Why? Because of the aforementioned: their voices sound 'authoritative,' while ours...like apes. Watch a young American woman speak: it's like seeing a baboon's ass pulsating from being in heat, which is pretty nauseating, I can tell you. Cockney flower girls in Victorian England were more well-spoken, while most of us are simply ignorant bores (well, not me...).

It's not just the American South either, it's everywhere in this country. This is about rednecks entirely, or even about machismo--it's about willful ignorance and mental laziness. There's no excuse for it in the modern world, none whatsoever. But it's not just about inherent intelligence--it's an attitude that being and sounding smart is somehow threatening. Well, yes, if one is stupid and lazy, and materialistic. Some of us never needed to be corrupted by the outlying society, we already were that way.

As a result of how incredibly stupid we are as a culture, we get the vocal-talents from another English-speaking country because they sound smarter than most of us, so therefore, they must know better (my targets cannot read this article--isn't this thrilling?!!). The most glaring example are these retarded ads on gold investments with the British woman (who could be an Aussie or a New Zealander, but I detect a British accent here).

The ad is definitely aimed at the perpetually frightened elderly reactionary who has some money to be deprived-of by the company paying for the advertisements. Or there's the one with the silly poof in the pond with the laptop, showing us how wireless works. Great. Recently, a LOCAL ad attacking a Republican mayor in Michiana had an English woman's voice-over. Bully for you.
Face it: an English schoolgirl sounds more authoritative than the voice of most American politicians.

When will it end? When we (mainly you) aren't so fucking stupid. Probably when all of us are dead and buried. The very little kids will wisely grow-up and reject our ways...at least, that's my hope. As the "greatest generation that ever lived" croaks-off, we're going to see some very rapid change. We already are. It will become even more rapid with the baby boomers--particularly the male demographic in America--since they were a larger generation.

Whoever said mortality was a bad thing was assuredly wrong, it's natural and (thankfully) inevitable. I'm looking forward to my well earned rest, you can take immortality and shove it. Would you want George W. Bush to live forever? Would you want to be around all these pseudo-Christians forever? Right, you're nuts, but I'll welcome oblivion when I'm at its door (Never Mind the Bollocks)

Losing You: Psychic TV's Lady Jaye/Miss Jackie, Dead at 38

Brooklyn, New York--I enjoin all fans of PTV, both past and present, to visit the link for Genesis P-Orridge's site. Gen has lost the second half of himself, his common law wife Lady Jaye, she was just 38-years-old. It appears she was struggling with a fight against stomach cancer, and her cancer drugs created a heart condition that triggered a heart-attack. She died in her home in Gen's arms. Here's to love and the continuation of PTV and Gen's artistic endeavors, wish him well in the comments section if you feel so inclined. A dyad has been broken, and many hearts with it. The stars cry with a woman's passing, and we should all be so lucky as to meet our other half. Heartfelt condolences to Jackie's family, Genesis and the rest of PTV3. It's strange: I literally bumped into the couple at the Empty Bottle a few-years-ago when PTV last toured, they were so sweet and pleasant, and it was possibly the best show I'd seen since Shellac in 1994.

Friends of SAIC? Raymond James Financial Visits J-7 Over Ron Roughead

SITE METER
--This one has me scratching my head. They're a financial advisory corporation, searching specifically on the name of a man found in the phone records of Deborah Jeane Palfrey: RON ROUGHEAD. Perhaps SAIC is deeply concerned about losing money because they're going to be subpoenaed in Palfrey's criminal trial. That's good.

With luck, their HQ in San Diego will burn to the ground, being completely consumed. Fire has a cleansing quality to it. It's natural and purifying, and nobody did it--it just happened. Thanks lady luck, all praise providence, all hail the goddess. We should talk Ron, we really should. Maybe I should be careful what I wish for (knock-on-wood).

800th Post: 'DC Madam' Trial Date Set

Washington D.C.--The time is coming, it's near. Federal District Judge Gladys Kessler has set the tentative trial date of Deborah Jeane Palfrey criminal trial for February 19th, 2008. It's going to be quite a ride, and remains to be seen who will be subpoenaed successfully. What's likely is that more unpleasant facts about our political system are going to be aired publicly during the body of the trial. According to Ms. Palfrey's attorney Montgomery Blair Sibley (her civil and criminal trial representation), a suppression hearing is slated just 11 days before the trial itself. Kessler's decisions on various motions have been mixed, and with virtually no discovery process on the side of the prosecution, the defense is compelled to holds their cards close to the vest.

Federal prosecutors have been given a leg-up with congressional legislation that allows them incredible flexibility to get around due process, the right of every defendant. Discovery is one such area affected, and a crucial one. Kessler has frequently fallen on the side of these procedural rules, though she can trump them on constitutional grounds. So far, she doesn't appear to be willing to exert the power of the judiciary to check the legislature or the executive branch. She's too credulous. Will she show an independent-streak that's fitting to the bench?

Judge Kessler has reserved judgment on whether there will be a hearing on selective (politically-based) prosecution of the defendant. The US Courts have visited this site in the past--will they be back? It might behoove Judge Kessler well to read some of what the research here has uncovered--including site meter readings--and subsequently published at this site. At least 90% of the information found here is readily available on the internet for anyone to find and analyze. Readers should be asking themselves why the mainstream media and press are not doing so. February 19th, 2008, you read it here first.

"DC Madam" Palfrey in Status Conference With District Judge Kessler Today (And So Much More)

Washington D.C.--It appears that things are beginning to finally get moving with the dismissal of Preston Burton as "DC Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey's criminal representation. What's unclear is how it's all going to play-out. Will civil attorney Montgomery Blair Sibley take the proceedings into areas Burton was unwilling to? It appears so from this newsletter from Ms. Palfrey and counsel, and a status conference is probably occurring in DC while this is being written:
Subsequently, Judge Kessler entered an order indicating that she would take up Jeane's selective prosecution argument. In essence, Jeane is arguing that as the only one of some eighty-three (83) escort agencies operating in the metro-DC area, the government's decision to prosecute her was based upon political considerations arising before the November 2006 elections. To support this contention, Jeane will be offering a composite exhibit of statements, news articles and a memo from Monica Goodling which collectively detail the politicization of the Department of Justice in a manner which lends credence to Jeane's argument of selective prosecution. At the conclusion of the argument, Jeane will be asking the Court to issue subpoenas and conduct an evidentiary hearing into these allegations. (10.21.2007 newsletter, 'Palfrey Update #29-Hearing Tomorrow on Selective Prosecution')
It's unclear how District Judge Gladys Kessler--a Clinton appointee to the bench--is going to rule on these coming motions. If you've been reading this site, little of this is going to come as a surprise. There are ample signs of politicization of Palfrey's case, partly due to the timing, and partly due to who her prosecutors are or who they might actually be. The playing filed is extremely foggy in many areas.

Take the example of Ms. Goodling, a graduate of Regents Law School (formerly part of Oral Roberts University. Roberts is currently being accused of embezzlement), a phony institution used to train political-operatives to be inserted into the federal bureaucracy by sundry conservative elements--approximately one-sixth (at one count, 150 at Justice) of all graduates of Regents are serving as Bush appointees to the Justice Department, providing reasonable suspicions to support Palfrey's claims. Similar examples in her case are there, waiting to be reported by the media. As far as anyone can tell, these appointments are all still in-place at the Department of Justice.

But remember Monica Goodling?
She was disgraced former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales's top aide who resigned this Spring and pleaded the Fifth amendment at congressional hearings over her and the boss's role in the U.S. Attorney firings scandal. Monica is going to be back in the spotlight again, and likely to be subpoenaed for Palfrey's trial(s), if only in document form.

She won't be alone: so will employees of defense/intel contractor, SAIC (search this site for more). Again, remember that Regents is considered the lowest of the low for law schools, and that
Goodling's 1999 class had a bar exam failure rate of 60%. Karma being what it is, we can rest assured that the GOP's Monica will deliver the goods Bionic Woman-style. Small wonder that they're all being caught at wrongdoing. But how did they all get in there? Thanks to leap-frogging appointments, naturally, a nineteenth century atavism

.Not long ago, it was rare for Regent graduates to join the federal government. But in 2001, the Bush administration picked the dean of Regent's government school, Kay Coles James , to be the director of the Office of Personnel Management -- essentially the head of human resources for the executive branch. The doors of opportunity for government jobs were thrown open to Regent alumni. (The Boston Globe, 04.08.2007,
How else do you keep investigations of obvious criminal behavior at bay? There's nothing clever about it, the game is based more on audacity and the unwillingness of atrophied congressional incumbents to believe that an administration like that of George W. Bush is even possible. This is what they were banking on all-along: that the opposition in the political sector would become frozen and make half-hearted attempts at stopping them to preserve the power of the executive branch for themselves. Where does Palfrey figure-into all of this? Nobody is quite certain of this, but this author has some ideas.

First
: the aforementioned "legal firewall" was created and maintained by political appointees like Goodling to keep the genuine, uncompromised forces of law and order in the bureaucracy (and the outlying society) at bay. This has played-out in numerous arenas, including the war in Iraq, Guantanamo Bay conditions, illegal rendition, torture--virtually every case of Bush and GOP wrongdoing and incompetence.

Second
: Karl Rove's (and likely the vice president's, and many others in the RNC...) knowledge of numerous
GOP incumbents' scandalous behaviors have allowed neoconservatives to continue a process of political blackmail of said incumbents throughout the Bush years--it's unlikely they invented the process, as the historical record is studded with examples thanks to J. Edgar Hoover. Someone, somewhere is keeping-tabs at all times of compromising behavior.

Third
: while blackmailing these incumbents has meant that these congresspersons are de facto captives of the neoconservatives, some are being discovered through the incompetence of Bush appointees in the Justice Department, a failure in cloaking their behaviors. They're also being caught because they cannot control themselves. On top of this, there has also been whistle-blowing by long-term employees at Justice, many of whom have resigned since 2001. The bureaucracy has been fighting-back. Deborah Jeane Palfrey could be the person who could free these compromised incumbents from the clutches of the neoconservative plague. If you wonder why some in Congress continue to vote the way they do, you should wonder no more.
After all, American culture is still decidedly Puritan, and especially so when it comes to the GOP's voting base. With the promise that "we'll keep things quiet about your immoral behavior," the Bush administration has secured the voting behavior of an unknown segment of incumbents in Congress. Besides quashing investigations into the possible criminal behaviors of GOP incumbents, we know from Judiciary Committee hearings and solid investigative journalism that a push for partisan-based investigations of Democratic incumbents occurred as part of the U.S. attorney firing scandal.
This is evident in the firing of former U.S. Attorney David C. Iglesias who was pressured by standing Senator Pete Domenici and Rep. Heather Wilson of New Mexico. Both incumbents attempted to pressure Iglesias into investigations of state Democrats before the 2006 elections, surely experiencing their own pressures from the White House and Karl Rove.
In back-to-back hearings in the Senate and House, former U.S. 8attorney David C. Iglesias of New Mexico and five other former prosecutors recounted specific instances in which some said they felt pressured by Republicans on corruption cases and one said a Justice Department official warned him to keep quiet or face retaliation. Iglesias's allegations of congressional interference have prompted a Senate ethics committee inquiry. Yesterday he offered new details about telephone calls he received in October from Sen. Pete V. Domenici (R-N.M.) and Rep. Heather A. Wilson (R-N.M.), saying he felt "leaned on" and "sickened" by the contacts seeking information about an investigation of a local Democrat. (The Washington Post, 03.07.2007, http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/03/06/AR2007030600606.html )
It should also be remembered in this context that it was one Monica Goodling who helped pave the way for Rove protege Tim Griffin as a U.S. Attorney. Griffin is now aiding Fred Thompson in his campaign...nearly the only campaign whose offices will never be burglarized during the entire run-up to the 2008 elections, a prediction of this writer. San Diego is burning. Perhaps with some luck, it will take SAIC's headquarters with it.
