Songs from the Site Meter: Military Intelligence? Naw, that's a contradiction-in-terms

SITE METER--This one has me a little puzzled. A chicklet (TM) to anyone who figures-out who they are and why they came to J-7!

  1. Defense Logistics Agency at Ft Belvoir, no intel affiliation. J7 is a military staff position (training/readiess), so presumably your site came up when Googling J7.

  2. I don't think you're wrong, but there's a hitch: look at the search words. They mention a database, and Suitland, MD. Last I checked, the ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence) is there. But yes, it is the Defense Logistics Agency.

  3. Try this.
When the Google shown 'nmic database personal perporty suitland md' the 31st search item is a reference to your site. The phrase 'NMIC' and 'Suitland, Maryland' appear in an entry dated July 01,2007.
A military member looking for information about relocating to Suitland, Maryland (NMIC) from DLA NeMO connection at
    Woodbridge Virginia, Ft Belvoir.
Someone from there visits my site on occasion.

  4. Oh yeah, I'm sure that I come up, but thanks for letting me know. At that time, I was deeply embroiled in the Palfrey defense offering Jeane general advice. None of it was legal advice.

The first commenter was correct about the military meaning of J7, though I doubt the veracity of everything they wrote.

The military and numerous other institutions--many of them nefarious ones--regularly scan the internet with bots, searching for keywords. For a time I had the Red Chinese looking around here, someone must have been reading from there at one point, because it ended after the bots. There it is. Thanks for you comment.
