The Monarch...

Home--We've had a lot of Monarch butterfiles around our house these days! Sometimes there are literally flocks of them. The last-few-years, they weren't anywhere...gone. Where were they? In 2005, we had a full-blown drought, so that figures-in, but what about 2006? Before that? It's good to have them back, they've been flocking onto our front and back porches, very interesting. I love them and their delicate nature. In many respects, they're like all of us. Life is fragile and temporary. Enjoy the flowers, enjoy the butterflies.
