Songs from the Site Meter: Severna, Maryland...who are you?

Site Meter--Throughout the whole Palfrey affair, they were there. Who? Someone hitting this site from Severna, Maryland, over-and-over again. This has gone on for over one year.

Any guesses? One guess of mine is that it's the indefatigable Montgomery Blair Sibley, currently writing his account of his own extensive contact with the Palfrey case.

There's also the possibility that it's someone from Orrick, Herrington, and Sutcliffe, one of the largest law firms in the world, a major government contractor...like most of the over 800 names found in the subpoenaed Verizon phone records of the late Jeane Palfrey. Like who?

As a matter of fact, kids, like ASRC Constructors Inc., connected to Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens, now on trial for corruption charges, the subject that was searched on google by the visitor below. That's why it's probably Sibely, but could be other interested parties close to the Palfrey scandal. An added-note to this theme: I found other minority-owned contractors in the research we did for Ms. Palfrey, a pattern of it, and more, much more.

Current Palfrey Estate attorney Preston Burton is a partner in the firm, meaning he's virtually a co-owner, if not entirely so. But when is that ever enough? Some sources say that Mr. Burton wants to be appointed as a federal judge in the near future. Now, this wouldn't have affected his demeanor during the legal proceedings and trial of the late Ms. Palfrey, would it? I don't know, you tell me. Then, there's the fact that a number of Orrick's behind-the-scenes legal maneuvering does nothing less than to protect former clients of the deceased DC Madam. Why is that? Ah, but Mr. Burton's not very forthcoming or talkative. My own hunch is that that's a wise move on his part.

Rense.com and their "death" photo of DC Madam Jeane Palfrey

WWW--You have to wonder if the Tarpon Springs Police Department knows about this photograph, but then, it appears to be a forgery anyway. The photograph to the far-left was posted at rense.com on May 5th, just 4 days after the death of the DC Madam.

I'd like to know how Mr. Rense came into the possession of this image, and whether there are others. If that's so, and if they're real, he and others have broken the law and should be charged for doing so.

Yes, they should receive the benefit-of-the-doubt and due process. That's it.

Then, there's the possibility that the image to the far-left was leaked by someone within the Tarpon Springs PD who had access to the crime scene photos. Who would that be? Again, I don't believe the photograph is real, or I wouldn't be posting it here. There is an offhand chance that it's a photo from another crime scene of another decedent. Regardless, the photograph isn't what its publishers have claimed it is. It's something else.

Why think this? Based on what little you can make out, the individual in the photograph doesn't appear to be the right age. Also, the image is very grainy, cloudy, which should raise some flags. The fact that there's almost no contextual information in the photo also tends towards the argument that it's not real, but staged. It suggests one-of-two things: the photograph is fake and was altered, or it's gone through a few generations of copying, which also suggests a forgery.

We live in a digital age where there's little generational loss of picture quality. It's not 1985 anymore. For the sake of argument--and it's a safe assumption to make with the widespread dissemination of digital cameras over film ones--that the real photographs were taken with a digital SLR camera.

The surroundings of the alleged death photo don't resemble the interior of the actual storage shed either. The real one is painted a whiter color, and is roomier. The photograph looks staged, which would make it a pretty craven move for attention and money, just one more example in a very sad story.

But Palfrey created much of this circus, and she had numerous enablers in the press and the dubious world of parapolitical entrepreneurialism. Palfrey never tried to capitalize on the death of former-employee Brandy Britton after her suicide. That should tell you everything you need to know about those trying to do so from hers.

Have You Seen This Cookie Dough Eating Woman? Editor Ponders Whether He's Gotten a Visit from 'Dr.' Paula Neble

SITE METER
--A curious gaggle of visitors have been clustering to this site from almost the very moment of its coverage about the legal predicament of Deborah Jeane Palfrey. So far, it's been a truly stunning-array.

It could be presumed that many of these visitors are professionals, individuals in officialdom, corporate executives and functionaries, members of think-tanks, former presidential advisers (and/or their agents), agents of the federal government, private military and intelligence contractors (SAIC & MITRE have visited--the 'mitre' being the fish-shaped hat the Nazi Pope wears, originally coming from the Cult of Dagon), our generally poor mainstream media, some officeholders, possible intelligence offices of several nations, NATO's offices, numerous federal departments and administrations, Congress, the Navy (one of the most frequent of 'official' guests), the United States Army--even the unholy five-sided Pentagon itself has been here, that archetype of evil and death.

Washington D.C. isn't just 'Hollywood for ugly people,' it's that strangest-of-places where there are so many professional conventions, minus the normal conventionalism of the little people. It's academic to say that many of these site hits are individuals in the phone records of Pamela Martin & Associates. It's certain.

But even early-on, there were some visitors who just kept coming back, popping-up on the site meter periodically, and that was especially curious to this writer. The National Institutes of Health is one, while one from Severna, Maryland just returns over-and-over. The one with Warl.org is plainly peculiar. While Palfrey's client-base extends into Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and even New York City, there have been a number of hits to this site from Maryland that just keep returning, and they too revisit over-and-over again.

NIH seemed out-of-place at first, but then, you have to realize that some of Ms. Palfrey's escorts were extremely professional individuals, and so were the clients--especially so in some cases. Those professional clients and small businessmen aren't the ones the public wants and needs to know about--we need to know what officials in (and out) of the phone records and contractors of the government are doing on our dollar and in our name. Are any of these site hits 'Dr.' Paula Neble? Yes, I'm being sarcastic, but I'm saying she has visited here. We know her handlers have.

Paula Neble has claimed to many people that she was a doctor--she isn't a real doctor (doctor of lunacy perhaps), or even a college graduate, and it's likely that the government has probably helped her to go 'underground' (a hint to journalists: stakeout her mother's house if you haven't been already).

Neble is that strange case: she isn't really the kind of woman Palfrey appears to have hired normally, so perhaps she tried to have all the appearance of being like the others. Why? Surely, it could have just been a ploy to get hired, and Neble may have been extremely out of her depth. It would explain a lot.

Being the same age as many of her government handlers at Justice, she's probably felt a kind of camaraderie with some of them, since they also appear to be overextended themselves. Or maybe it's just a case of the Stockholm syndrome on her part. Who ever said playtime ended after childhood? Life is like the movies. Would they all be more well-behaved in a better world? Nah. Playtime's over, and Hollywood's on-strike. This is about affecting a real defendant's life with real world consequences for all involved. Justice isn't being served, and that's serious. This writer believes Judge Kessler suspects this as well.

Remember the late Dr. Brandy Britton, a doctor of Sociology? Dead. That's serious, and so is 55 years in prison. That's one's natural life. Equally serious is the threat posed by a case like this to due process. If the government has had such a great case all-along with such heavy, punitive charges against the defendant, why then do they keep claiming secrecy rules because there's 'an ongoing investigation' that could be compromised? That's a lame excuse, it's as flaccid as a politician's penis.

Palfrey named Neble in a civil suit for a breach of contract back in the Spring of this year (for engaging in prostitution against her express wishes), and Neble has been that one lone name we all learned early-on in this story. She's the first of the government's witnesses/informants to be made public. We probably wouldn't even know her name had the defendant not filed the civil suit against her. Where is she hiding, and why is she being afforded the kind of anonymity that the defendant hasn't?

At this point, it should be obvious that the prosecution knows full-well that Palfrey has a good idea of the names of her accusers and some of their backgrounds...but the public doesn't, and the prosecution wants to prevent this for some reason. Conversely, they have selectively released edited evidence to specific media outlets such as the Smoking Gun.

We--the public--know virtually nothing about Paula Neble...and neither does her mother. What she appears to be is a pathological liar being harbored and used as a 'cooperating witness' against Deborah Jeane Palfrey in a government case gone very wrong. We just don't know much of anything except that she had Senator David Vitter and Harlan Ullman as clients and a few anecdotes. Paula's poor mother must be appalled.

Until May, she had no idea what her daughter was up to, and it seems very few others did either. This is troubling in a criminal case with an impending trial set for February 19th, but Judge Kessler could open the doors to a real discovery process after the end of this month. But it should be remembered that Palfrey has filed the suit against as many as 15 other 'Jane Does,' probably being her last crew of escorts.

Research by the New York Daily News (by journalist James Meek back in early-May) and WTOP has uncovered the fact that Neble never earned a doctorate, or any degree at all. According to Meek's questioning of her mother, she only took a few biology classes at the college level. Why would she go around claiming she had a doctorate when she didn't? Again, she was presenting a picture of a different person to Palfrey and others, and the reasons could be very banal. But, amazingly, that's it--we know nothing more about her, and she changed her name in 2001.

She really seems like a mixed-up hustler who got into something much bigger than she could handle. This has some interesting echoes with the Naval Academy 'supply officer' who is--astonishingly enough--still employed at Annapolis! It might be assumed that she must have served some overarching purpose, and that they know some pretty compromising information on (self-) 'important' people. People like Harlan Ullman and Vitter. This writer's money is on a connection to the Cunningham scandal, and Palfrey has dropped the name in the past. The involvement of SAIC-employee tends towards this thesis as well.

Neble didn't have much of an education when she worked for Pamela Martin & Associates, so it's strange that anyone would have believed that a cookie-dough eating, sleazy romance novel reading Texan could be anything other than what she really was: a pathological liar and a loser with little-or-no grasp of the truth. Did she have some gift for the gab? How did she pull-it-off? At least that's what acquaintances of Neble have been saying. This site enjoins anyone with direct information about Ms. Neble to come forward with it, we're all interested to know what kind of individuals the government uses as witnesses/informants under the Bush administration's (or any other) Justice Department. Neble's old apartment was catty corner to the Pentagon, and like many of the current administration's ranks and supporters, she's from Houston, Texas.

The government had better hope she's not their star witness. She's out there, somewhere, eating cookie-dough on the taxpayer's dime, lying to her government babysitters who likely tired of her boorishness long-ago. Funny, she sounds like my ex. My guess is the feds are keeping Ms. Plump in a safe house--not from criminal danger of any kind, but from public scrutiny since she's already displayed all the traits of a bad witness for any case. Where? Probably within the Washington D.C. area, and that she and her handlers have been poring-over the internet since they have a lot of time on their hands. They should, they might be in a lot of trouble. You can probably bank on that one too.

And it would also be interesting to know specifically if Ms. Neble ever had any contact (physical) with Ret. Colonel Ronald Roughead of SAIC, and Brent Wilkes. SAIC could be linked to the Cunningham scandal by-way of 'Hookergate.' We could be finding-out a whole lot more of the narrative after the TRO (temporary restraining order) hearing on November 28th, the other turkey day with the accusers playing the bird. Here's to a good carving-up.

With luck, federal District Judge Gladys Kessler will allow Palfrey's civil suit to go forward, and the accuser will finally be forced out into the sunlight. Neble won't be the only name released after a lifting of the restraining order on Palfrey's suit against Neble, we'll know more about her accusers and why the government prosecution didn't want us to. What a Strange Brew. (Revised, 11.08.2007)

"HOOKERGATE," RANDALL L. TOBIAS, & PAUL WOLFOWITZ: THE AMERICAN PROFUMO SCANDAL? (Repost of a June 17th, 2007 article)

Washington D.C.
--In e-mails and in our interview, Ms. Palfrey compared her situation as being very much like the "Profumo" scandal, and that it might involve a government official divulging information to a sex worker who was an operative for a foreign intelligence agency (though it should be noted here that many operatives frequently work all sides). It's an incredible assertion, and Palfrey has yet to provide evidence of it. However, this writer tends in that direction as well.

The evidence could very well be in her phone records, and she's currently waiting for a decision on the gag ruling by Federal District Judge Gladys Kessler. She's been correct about the majority of her public assertions so far: just ask Randall L. Tobias. Then, there's Harlan K. Ullman, military strategist and think tank advisor, professor, author, and-then-some. He's refused to talk at all, despite the defendant's attempts to subpoena him. An examination of the Profumo affair is instructive here:

What brought Profumo down even more than his deceit of the [House of] Commons, was the startling revelation that Keeler had also slept with Eugene Ivanov, the naval attache at the Soviet embassy. It was that detail which captured world attention, notably in the United States, where the FBI compiled a detailed report called Operation Bowtie [Ed.-the FOIA link to the files is now dead]. In Britain, Profumo's downfall naturally caused a huge sensation, inflated by the establishment's crude and cruel attempts to find scapegoats for its own embarrassment. As usual, official wrath was turned on those least able to defend themselves. Stephen Ward was prosecuted for living on immoral earnings. On the last day of his trial, he killed himself with an overdose of sleeping tablets. Keeler was also tried and imprisoned on related charges. (Guardian, 04.10.2001)
Tory War Minister John Dennis Profumo slept with Keeler, who slept with a Soviet spy. He might have said things to Keeler that he shouldn't have, and she may have conveyed it (accidentally?) to the Soviet Eugene Ivanov. Do we have a similar scenario here? Were federal investigators looking for something else entirely when they searched Deborah Jeane Palfrey's Vallejo home? What were 12 SWAT-equipped ("assault-rifles and masks," says one source) Howard county police doing at Brandy Britton's (former employee of Palfrey's) home when she was first arrested?
She says the authorities have unfairly singled her out, made up lies, mistreated, stalked and harassed her since Jan. 17, when a team of Howard County officers burst into her quiet suburban home and ransacked the place, breaking her belongings, upsetting her pets and arresting Britton on prostitution charges. “It sounds paranoid, but they did really serious criminal stuff,” Britton says. “They’ve broken into my house 10 or 15 times. They’ve tapped my phones. They put a tail on me and follow me everywhere.” (examiner.com, 10.26.2006)
That sounds like overkill for a woman who was anonymously accused of soliciting sex. What were they looking for? Was it an e-mail or document(s) relating to a scenario much like that between War Minister Profumo and Christine Keeler? Who is the Christine Keeler in this case? Who is/are the Profumo(s)? This leads us to...

Paul Wolfowitz's recent scandal could very well be connected to all of this: was his "girlfriend" really his beau? What is the entire background of Shaha Ali Riza? Could she be a deep cover agent for a Middle Eastern nation? There appears to be some smoke here, and it behooves us to ask the question of whether Wolfowitz compromised himself by uttering national security secrets in the presence of Ali Riza, and maybe others--could this be the real heart of this whole scandal?

Is there a connection between Wolfowitz and Tobias in all of this? Is there a connection between them and their "concerns" over the international sex trade and human trafficking? Gulf state nations like Saudi Arabia are notorious violators of such international agreements, importing sex-slaves from the region, including Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Africa. Read on.

Amazingly, the world press and everyone but the American public knew that Wolfowitz's girlfriend already worked at the World Bank before his appointment, and were reporting it widely:

There is Republican pressure to reform the World Bank so that it becomes more of a facilitator for private-sector involvement and less of a direct intervener. Mr Wolfowitz’s girlfriend, Shaha Ali Riza, works at the World Bank. Ms Riza, who was born in Tunis and grew up in Saudi Arabia, is an ardent proponent of spreading democratic rights throughout the Arabic world. Her low-key presence in Mr Wolfowitz’s life surprises critics, who assert that he masterminds a Zionist conspiracy from the Pentagon. (The Times, 03.17.2005)
Again, this was even before Wolfowitz was appointed World Bank President. Someone might want to ask Ms. Ali Riza if she's ever worked for the Saudi General Intelligence Directorate under Prince Turki al-Faisal (once Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States, Great Britain, and Ireland). How did Shaha Ali Riza--a British subject at the time--obtain security clearances for the State Department and the Pentagon? Is she a triple-agent? No answers appear to be forthcoming here.

Of course, much of this is connected to late-April of this year, when the Wolfowitz/World Bank scandal broke. Paul Wolfowitz had--and still has--many detractors, but there was an odd "defender": former U.S. Attorney and international law and diplomacy prof at John Hopkins, Ruth Wedgwood. Her own location puts her very close geographically to the death of Brandy Britton, as well as what could be a sprawling web-of-corruption in Baltimore involving prostitution, police corruption at the highest-levels, political warfare, and much more. Where does Wedgwood fit into all of this? On April 17th, 2007, she did something peculiar: she wrote a defense of World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz for the L.A. Times called "The Wolfowitz non-story."
The authors of this acrid affair have nakedly forgotten the standards of fairness and due process owed Riza, who is a member of the bank staff association and entitled to its fiduciary protections. And the scandal-mongers have recklessly ignored a written record of bank documents that serves not to condemn but to exculpate Wolfowitz. (L.A. Times, 04.17.2007)
Oddly, a number of the facts she trots-out in the opinion piece tends towards the thesis that Ali Riza has an intelligence background. As we all know now, she was wrong about Wolfowitz on several counts, and hid her credentials as a staunch-supporter and beneficiary of the Bush administration (they appointed her as an Assistant U.S. Attorney) and Wolfowitz.

Wedgwood's article is a smokescreen, and her credibility is in-question. A reply was in-the-offing, and it came to the L.A. Times on April 30th from "Islamic Law expert and photojournalist" Sarah Whalen after angry readers pointed-out Wedgwood's connections to the Bush administration and the embattled World Bank President:

Ordinarily, expert opinions by former assistant U.S. attorneys like Wedgwood count for something. But Wedgwood, sputtered one angered reader, is biased. "For the Times to publish her column without disclosing her close ties to the Bush administration is inexcusable," scolded reader Gerald Shea. ...Wedgwood should address the real legal question facing Wolfowitz and Shaha: How did Shaha, a Libyan national with British citizenship, get her Pentagon and U.S. State Department security clearances? Sidney Blumenthal first raised this issue in his recent Guardian article, "Wolfowitz Sinking Into Endless Scandal." Shaha needed security clearances for her Wolfowitz-engineered "leave of absence" from the World Bank to her consulting job at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) [Ed.-This is the same intel contractor who employs Ron Roughead, found in the phone records of Pamela Martin & Associates. Emphasis added] and later to her State Department job. But she apparently didn't have them. "Who intervened?" Blumenthal asks. (L.A. Times, 04.30.2007)
That's right, who allowed Shaha Ali Riza those security clearances? When we know their name(s), they're going to be leaving office. Perhaps they already have--in-part--in the person of Paul D. Wolfowitz...and possibly Randall L. Tobias. It's important to put your middle-initial in there to at least look and sound prominent. Merely sleeping with a woman does not explain Tobias's immediate departure from the State Department. What generates and motivates these kinds of scandals and the usage of "honey traps"? Usually, overarching national and strategic-aims...

Saudi Arabia has been concerned about the status of the several break-away Republics in Central Asia which are primarily Muslim. They also provide pipeline routes and sources of oil and natural gas. The aims of all of this--employing someone like Shaha Ali Riza in deep cover--would be to ascertain what the State Department's and the Pentagon's planning on these regions would entail. Whether he knew it or not, Paul Wolfowitz might have allowed a spy for MI6/MI1c/SIS/the Saudi Intelligence Directorate/etc. to have extraordinary access and clearance within these institutions. This could be some of that context:

At the same time, members of the ruling dynasty, including the directors of several big oil companies and high-ranking officers of the General Intelligence Service, were pursuing clearly practical aims. They viewed Central Asia as part of a larger region, stretching from Pakistan in the South, to the Russian Caucasus in the North. Besides the diffusion of their influence over the local Muslims, and the competition with Turkey and Iran, the Saudis were interested in participating in a greater number of regional projects for the mining and transporting of energy resources.
Not having the possibility of neutralizing the competition with the Eurasian states in the oil and gas markets, Riyadh relied on getting a share of the income from their future profits. It was with this purpose in mind that Delta Oil Company developed its activity in Afghanistan; Gulf Star company and Dallah al-Baraka Group did the same in Kazakhstan; and the Caucasian Investment Bank was established for developing work in the Caucasus (with the help of the commercial structures belonging to the Saudi billionaire, Adnan Khashoggi). Pakistani partners were actively helping the Saudis to attain their goals. (axisglobe.com, 11.30.2005)
Is this a segment of "hookergate's" genesis? Sources are telling me that it could be. Was Shaha Ali Riza a sex worker? Did she have connections to these channels? "On December 11th, 2006, then-ambassador Prince Turki al-Faisal left his post "after 15 months." ('Saudi Ambassador Abruptly Resigns, Leaves Washington." (Washington Post, 12.12.2006) Is there a connection? More later.

Her location puts her very close geographically to the death of Brandy Britton, as well
as what could be a sprawling web-of-corruption in Baltimore involving prostitution, police corruption at the highest-levels, political warfare, and much more.

Sidney Blumenthal first raised this issue in his recent Guardian article, "Wolfowitz Sinking Into Endless Scandal." Shaha needed security clearances for her Wolfowitz-engineered "leave of absence" from the World Bank to her consulting job at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and later to her State Department job.

Whether he knew it or not, Paul Wolfowitz might have allowed a spy for
MI6/MI1c/SIS/the Saudi Intelligence Directorate/etc. to have extraordinary access and clearance within these institutions.
On December 11th, 2006, then-ambassador Prince Turki al-Faisal left his post "after 15 months." ('Saudi Ambassador Abruptly Resigns, Leaves Washington." Washington Post, 12.12.2006) Is there a connection? More later.
